Guidance Central is an internet based program for career exploration and planning, ACT, SAT and PSAT test preparation and scholarship searches. It is for grades 6-12. Guidance Central consists of three components:

Calvert Education Services provides a K through 8th grade curriculum. Calvert has been in business for over 100 years. They have provided industry leading curriculum since its founding and is used all over the world. Calvert is considered to be the founder and leader in home schooling. In 2005, Calvert began an online system for home use. Calvert still operates a “brick and mortar” school in Maryland along with the online system.
Centric provides technology support services. They offer outsourced managed services solutions to small businesses, professional associations, government service organizations and educational facilities. Centric, founded in 1996, offers a broad range of expertise and highly qualified staff.
Education Alternatives serve youth with emotional and behavioral disabilities in a therapeutic setting, providing individualized academic instruction, counseling, and occupational guidance so that the student may
become a healthy individual and a responsible member of their community. PCESC and Education Alternatives work in collaboration with the emotional and behavior disabilities of students.
K12 provides individualized digital learning as a one to one solution for students from kindergarten through high school, internationally. The curriculum enables mastery of core concepts and skills for our students.
PCESC's partnership with K12 is one that is unique in model and a first for Portage County. PCESC purchases the K12 curriculum, provides its own teachers and administrates all aspects of the student's education. In turn, students can remain enrolled in their resident district and still utilize an online learning model. Using this design, families who, for whatever reason, withdrew their children and enrolled them in on-line community schools can now remain enrolled in their home district but allow their children to learn utilizing a virtual curriculum.
Learning Springs is an online curriculum developed by Laruel Springs, a private school based in Ojai, California. It is designed for students in grades 5–12. The curriculum best fits students with a subject–specific interest or desires to take additional coursework. Also, it is an excellent option for students who are in a “credit recovery” situation.
The Tri-Rivers Digital Academy is a statewide online community school. Instruction is provided to students using computers and other technology. TRECA enrolls students K-12 and provides a full school experience. PCESC is in partnership with TRECA to provide related services to exceptional children enrolled in the digital academy.

Valley Counseling Services, Inc. is a private, non-profit behavioral healthcare provider, established in 1956, serving people primarily in northeastern Ohio. Services are available for all ages, children through senior citizens. VCS is certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The agency is a member of the Ohio Council of Behavioral Healthcare Providers. PCESC and Valley Counseling work in collaboration with the emotional and behavior disabilities of students.
Virtual Community School (VCS) is an on-line community school which is sponsored by the Reynoldsburg School District. The curriculum spans the K-12 continuum of core subjects. Students who live in Ohio can participate. All core subjects are available. VCS offers the non traditional student the opportunity to rigorous school curriculum.
