Portage County Educational Service Center provides a wide variety of Human Resource Services to educational entities.
~ Processes licensure renewals and transitions
~ Conducts background checks—BCI&I and FBI
~ Posts both certified and classified jobs
~ Maintains applications for potential job candidates in all fields of education including, but not
limited to, teachers, administrators, educational assistants, related service personnel, and
classified personnel
~ Serves as a resource that districts may use to procure educational candidates
~ Maintains a list of recommended substitutes on behalf of districts in Portage County
~ Courier Services to educational entities
